Tree

Meaning
Health, growth, and the long time such things take. The Tree is the body and its condition, and also anything that develops slowly by its own nature — roots, lineage, the deep and unhurried. It is the deck's principal health card, though it says nothing on its own about whether health is good or poor.
It also carries spiritual and ancestral weight in the tradition: what is inherited, what runs deep, what cannot be rushed.
The tone is neutral and patient. The Tree resists speed. Where it appears, things take longer than the querent would like, and this is a feature of the matter rather than an obstruction.
Beside other cards
Frequently the subject in health questions. As a modifier it slows and deepens — Tree + Heart is a bond with roots, Tree + Mice is something draining over time. Read with the Sun or Bouquet it leans toward good health; with Clouds, Mice, or Cross, toward a condition that needs attention.
